Vision
A NEW BEGINNING, TOGETHER
Our vision is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals on their journey to recovery. We strive to create a place where hope and healing thrive, where guests are empowered to rebuild their lives, and where the values of respect, compassion, and personal growth are central to our mission.
Resources
We connect guests to life-changing services
Peer Support Groups
Our peer-led support groups will offer a safe space for guests to share their experiences, challenges, and victories. These meetings will be a cornerstone of our community, fostering connections and reinforcing the commitment to sobriety.
Life Skills Workshops
We believe in empowering our guests with the practical skills they need to succeed in independent living. Our workshops will cover essential topics like budgeting, cooking, and job searching, providing the tools for a brighter future.
Employment Assistance
Securing meaningful employment is a crucial step in the recovery process. We’ll collaborate with local businesses to offer job training and placement services, helping guests regain their independence.
Educational Support
Whether pursuing a GED, vocational training, or higher education, our guests will have access to the resources they need to achieve their goals. We’re here to support their educational journey every step of the way.
Our Story
Exodus Homes was born out of our profound personal journey. After battling addiction for 38 years and witnessing the destructive impact it has on families, I (Wayne) made it my life’s mission to help others facing similar struggles. With over eight years as an addiction counselor, my wife Lisa and I hope to build Exodus Homes to be a beacon of hope for those in need, providing the stability and support necessary for lasting change. This lived experience allows us to connect with guests on a personal level, offering support that is both genuine and informed by real-world challenges.

Safe & Supportive Environment
Many turn to unsafe shelters and transitional housing options due to the lack of available resources for safe and affordable housing. We are directly addressing these challenges by offering a secure and supportive sober living environment with a focus on creating a safe space where guests can rebuild their lives without the fear of encountering the dangers prevalent in many shelters and transitional housing programs.
Proven Pathways To Recovery
In similar models across the state, residents have reported a 50% decrease in relapses and a significant improvement in their overall well-being and a sense of security. Our goal is to replicate and exceed these outcomes, providing a haven for those who have been let down by other systems.
Tailored Programs For All
We serve a diverse range of individuals, including those recovering from substance abuse, professionals needing housing security, and veterans transitioning back into civilian life. We also offer specialized programs for criminal justice-involved individuals, men, women, families, and people of color, providing culturally competent support tailored to each group’s unique challenges.
Connecting With Our Community
To maximize our impact, we partner with local agencies, healthcare providers, educational centers, religious institutions, veterans’ organizations, and cultural community centers. These relationships help us connect with the populations we serve and gain valuable insights to better meet their needs.
